Live Online Draft

Schedule and manage your league's draft with our Live Online Draft feature -- it's great for leagues where everyone cannot get to the draft. And when the draft is complete, all the player rosters are automatically entered for your league -- a great time saver for commissioners! This feature is limited to leagues with 16 teams or less, and only snake-order drafts are supported (i.e., Team 1 picks first, Team 2 picks second, … Team 10 picks 10th, Team 10 picks 11th, Team 9 picks 12th, Team 8 picks 13th, … Team 1 picks 20th, Team 1 picks 21st, and so forth through all rounds). The draft order is set by your league's team order. The number of rounds for the draft is determined by the number of starters and reserves as defined in your league's specifications.

In each round of the draft, each team will have up to 60 seconds to draft its player. A team may draft a player by choosing from the master player list or from the team's personalized draft list. Once a player has been selected, he is removed from the pool of available players and no other team in the league may select him. If a player is not selected within 60 seconds, the draft stops until the league's commissioner selects a player for the team and restarts the draft. The entire draft must be completed within 6 hours of the draft's scheduled start time.

Commissioner Responsibilities during the Live Online Draft

During your league's draft time, the founding commissioner of the league (the individual who created or renewed the league for the current season) is responsible for monitoring and managing the league's draft. This includes:
  1. Drafting players for teams that have not made a player selection within the allocated 60 seconds.
  2. Rescinding draft selections and setting the draft back in the event that a draft pick needs to be undone.
  3. Stopping and starting the live draft as needed to draft players for teams that did not make their selections within 60 seconds, to rescind draft selections, and/or to pause the draft for any other reason.
  4. Validating all team rosters. The Live Online Draft feature does NOT check that each team drafting has selected players for a valid starting lineup based on your league's specifications. This is the responsibility of each team owner and of the league's commissioner.
  5. Monitoring the pace of the draft so that it completes within 6 hours of its scheduled start time.
Unlisted Players

You cannot select an unlisted player during your league's draft. To request that an unlisted player be added to the list of available players, please email us at sportsdesk@tqstats.com at least 24 hours prior to your league's draft time.
